Selin Mina
Selin Ashaghimina, professionally known as Selin Mina, is a Berlin-based founder, cultural curator, speaker and content creator working at the intersection of contemporary dating, community building, and modern intimacy.
Trained as a media researcher with an editorial background writing for ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar Germany, Selin combines an emotionally intelligent, research-led approach with an editorial lens to translate complex social dynamics and cultural trends into accessible dialogue. She speaks on topics including modern dating culture, social isolation, community, and leadership, exploring connection, attraction, and human behaviour in a digital-first world.
Alongside her speaking work, Selin is the co-founder of Sparks Social Club, where she designs intentional spaces for connection. Her work as a content creator focuses on short-form video formats across lifestyle, beauty, and modern dating culture with an audience of over 50,000 followers across platforms.

As part of Soho House Berlin’s members’ programming, Selin moderated and participated in a cultural conversation hosted by Sparks Social Club titled “How We Date in 2026: Intimacy, Independence and Connection.”
Framing modern dating as a cultural mirror, the talk explored the discomfort of ambiguity and the growing desire for certainty in relationships, revealing deeper shifts in how we connect and form intimacy today.
